Arthur Don Perkins, originally from Shelbyville, Tennessee, was born on October 26, 1971.  Arthur, known as Pumpkin, AP and Uncle P to those that knew him, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at Springfield Regional Medical Center.

He was the fourth son of the late Guy Fred Perkins Sr. and Johnnie Mai Perkins.

Those left to always cherish his memory are two sons, Demetrice Woods, Franklin, Tennessee and Michael Webb of Rolla, Missouri; grandsons, Mi'Khi Perkins Shelbyville, Tennessee and Braiden Webb of Rolla, Missouri; two brothers, Guy Fred Jr. (Joyce) and John Perkins and a sister, Shawanda Perkins all of Shelbyville, Tennessee; seven  aunts, Letha Holbert of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Birdie Johnson and Janice Sparks of Springfield Ohio, Charlotte (William) Hill and Brenda Cannon of Winchester, Tennessee, Valerie (Edward) of Estill Springs, Tennessee and Cheri Cannon of Baltimore, Maryland; one uncle, Henry (Connie) of Unionville, Tennessee; stepmother, Savannah Edmonds of Shelbyville, Tennessee and special friend, Tammy Wells of Springfield, Ohio, twelve nieces and nephews, a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins and friends.

His final resting place will be in Shelbyville, Tennessee.
