Mrs. Arnelious "Neal" Gaines departed this life on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at her home. She was born on September 5, 1934 in Brandon, Mississippi. Arnelious was one of ten children born to John and Annie Bryant. She moved to Springfield, Ohio with her husband, Milton L. Gaines Sr. in 1956. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Arnelious was a Homemaker, a loving & caring Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Milton Jr (Roxanne) Gaines, Lamar E. Gaines and Jacquelyn Gaines; two sisters, Mary Adams and Bobbie Burnett of Chicago IL.; two sisters-in law, Arlene Bryant of Chicago, IL. and Mary Gaines of Springfield, OH., a host of Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Other Relatives and Dear Friends. Arnelious was preceded in death by her parents, John & Annie Bryant; husband, Milton L. Gaines Sr.; three children, Elaine Gaines, Craig L. Gaines and Carolyn A. Young; five sisters, Maggie, Jessie Dean, Annie Lois, Zelma and Lillie Ree and two brothers, James Bryant and John D. Bryant. Visitation is Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon in Covenant United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
