Anthony N. Davis passed into eternal rest, Thursday , September 15, 2016 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born October 25, 1960 to Arthur N. Davis and Alberta D. Adams in Springfield Community Hospital. He graduated from Springfield South High School in 1979. Anthony was employed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and Antioch Publishing Company. He enjoyed playing cards, dancing, cooking/grilling and was a proud Cincinnati Bengals and an Ohio State University fan. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Debra Davis; son, Christopher Holtz; sister, Anita Doughman and grandparents. He is survived by his son, Phillip M. Holtz; stepfather, Charles Adams; stepmother, Shirley Davis, sisters, Charlene (Thomas) A. Watkins of Atlanta, Georgia; Lisa Johnson of North Carolina; Melinda (Stanley) Holt of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, Terrance "Butch" (Sheila) Steele of Atlanta, Georgia; uncle, Richard (Jackquelyn) Johnson of Dayton, Ohio, 5 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. In accordance to Anthony's wishes, he will be cremated.
