Anna Lee Jones, 76, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 6:57 a.m. at Springfield Masonic Home in Springfield, Ohio. She was born on May 31, 1941 in Griffin, Georgia to the union of Otis and Wardell (Williams) Phillips, Sr., both parents preceded her in death. Ms. Jones worked as a Home Health Aide for Clark County Job and Family Services. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where she had served on the Usher Board and sang in the Choir. She enjoyed knitting, working crossword puzzles and enjoyed her family very much. She leaves to cherish her precious memory 3 sons; William E. Jones, III (Yolanda) of Columbus, OH. Tracy L. Jones (Melody) of Glendale, AZ and Jeffrey V. Jones (Annette) of Montgomery, AL; daughter; Anita M. Jones of Springfield, OH.; 16 grandchildren, MaLeea, Josiah, Jacob, Justin, Jourdon, Tya, Tarin, Alena, TiMier, Kelsea, William IV, Jerrico, Sean, Rodney, Jason and Brian, 7 great grandchildren and a sister, Annette Evans (William) of Springfield, OH. She was preceded in death by a son, Brian T. Jones; brother, Otis Phillips Jr.; 3 sisters, Geneva Nelms, Byrone Battles and Connie Phillips and a very special friend, Davis Wells.
