In Loving Memory: Amber LaSian Moody

Amber Moody was a loving and adventurous mother, aunt, friend, and colleague.  She passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 42.  She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and strength. Born August 12, 1981, in Columbus, Ohio, to Carolyn Moody and Larry Waddy.  Amber was the youngest daughter.  Amber was a determined and caring individual.  Her life wasn't traditional in any way but, that is why she was so loved.

Amber worked at Essex of Springfield for several years as a nurse's aide.  Amber will be deeply missed by her children, Kaliyah (Khalil) Moody and Haylee Acquah; her sisters, Angela and Dawna Moody, and other friends and family.

Although she may no longer be here with us on earthside, her spirit still lives on in all the people she met.  A celebration of Amber's life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at My Church (334 S Plum Street, Springfield, Ohio 45506). The service will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m.  As we mourn the death of Amber, let us not forget that she is rejoicing with our Lord and Savior.  She lived for others and would want nothing more but for people to remember the positive impact she made.
