Alberta Fisher, 96, of Oxford, Ohio and formerly of Springfield was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 4, 2015 in the Knolls of Oxford Care Center. She was born May 16, 1918 in Homer, Georgia a daughter of Burton and Lula (Jackson) Hargrove. Mrs. Fisher was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center where she was a mother of the church. She was employed at Wittenberg University and in the dining room at Victory Lanes. She would take pride in how beautifully she was dressed and she always had a beautiful smile. She leaves to cherish her memory, her two loving daughters, Lula Jean Curry and Beverly A. (Anderson) Simmons, grandchildren, great grandchildren great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Herman Franklin Fisher, Jr., a sister, Sallie Hendrix, a foster sister Mayo Brown and two brothers, Allen and Kellie Hargrove.
