Celebrating the life, love and legacy of Akeem R. Holtz.  Akeem R. Holtz, 40, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 in the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.  He was born June 28, 1984 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Shirley A. Humphrey and Tim Holtz.

He started his school years in Atlanta, Georgia in 1989.  He was always a pretty good student and he graduated from Harper Archer High School in 2002 with a 3.5 grade point average!  He was a very big fan of the WWF.  As a teenager, he watched the WWF relentlessly and attended many wrestling events.  He even transformed his look to match that of his most favorite wrestler of all, The Rock!

He became interested in music, and along with some school friends, he formed a group called AORP (All Out Rat Pack), where he took on the character name of No. 1 Crucial!

He was the father of three loving children; two daughters and one son, Amayani A. Pitts, Janie A. Crawford and Elijah T. A. Holtz.  He leaves behind four siblings; sisters, Natasha R. Walker, Ikeita J. Muhammad, Timothy A. Flournoy and Whitley D. Holtz and a host of other relatives and friends.

Akeem was a fun, sweet and loving soul with a wonderful and infectious smile that could light up any room and situation!

Loving Akeem was very easy!  He touched so many hearts and lives everywhere he went.  He will be forever loved and missed.  In the words of his loving and devoted mother, "My one and only Butter!"

A Celebration of Life service will be Thursday, April 24, 2025 at 1 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.
